Alpha Ireland worked alongside Catholic Agency Accord, Focus on the Family, Retrouvaille and 3 other ministries in hosting a National Marriage Week in February last.   President McAleese was our guest speaker and event was well attended.  The founders of the Alpha Marriage and Pre Marriage Courses - Nicky and Sila Lee – were also guest speakers at the event. There has been a growth in Alpha Marriage Courses in the country with courses in Waterford, Cork, Arklow, Dublin North and Drogheda.  Dublin’s 3 Rock Pub in Rathfarnham was the venue for a successful Marriage Course with 10 Coupes attending the 7 week course hosted by 3 couples. One couple, on the point of divorce, did the Marriage Course and recommitted to their marriage during it.
